Linda June Barnes, 75, passed peacefully on Tuesday, August 9 ^th , 2022 in Centerton, Arkansas.  She was born December 23 ^rd , 1946 in Lamar County, Texas to Martha Jean Hoffpauir and Harver Mask, Jr.

She was the oldest daughter of seven in her family and, being the oldest, she learned early on how to cook and maintain a household. To this day, her three sons still rave about her fried chicken and spaghetti.

Linda was someone who made friends easily and treated everyone she encountered as family.  She greatly enjoyed spending time with her sons whenever possible.  Linda was known for her excellent cooking, love of fine jewelry and had a special place in her heart for the pets she had in her life.

Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Anthony and Angela Howard of Gainesville, Florida, Allen and Julie Howard of Bentonville, Arkansas and Chris and Ivy Howard of Bella Vista, Arkansas; four grandchildren Eli Howard, Abby Howard and Seth Howard of Bentonville, Arkansas and Nicholas Howard of Gainesville, Florida; three great grandchildren Hayden Howard, Myla Howard and Jaqueline Howard; two sisters Debbie Lux of Holiday Island, Arkansas and Carolyn Tate of Fort Smith, Arkansas and four brothers Richard Mask of Tulsa, Oklahoma, John Mask of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Steve Mask of Van Buren, Arkansas and Eddie Mask of Greenwood, Arkansas.
