Linda (Lin) Marie Charpentier, 66, passed away October 24, 2021, with her beloved sister Julie Polaski at her side.

Lin was born to Eugene and Inez (Christianson) Polaski on February 3, 1955.

She was raised in Superior, Wisconsin and moved with her family to Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1972 where she graduated from Kennedy High School in 1973.  She moved to Eugene, Oregon in 1986 where she raised her family and spent most of her adult life.  She attended the University of Oregon and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Fine Arts in Japanese Woodblock Printing.  Lin enjoyed gardening, singing in the choir, traveling and staying physically active through running, bicycling, hiking, swimming and yoga.  She loved dogs. Doozer, a toy white poodle, was her constant companion for many years.

Lin is preceded in death by her father.

Lin is survived by her two children, Livia and Leif Carpenter of Eugene, Oregon; her mother, Inez Polaski of Bella Vista, Arkansas; her sister, Julie Polaski of Phoenix, Arizona; her two brothers, Michael Polaski of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Jeffrey Polaski of Hayward, Wisconsin.

An inurnment Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021, at the Bella Vista Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the American Cancer Society.
