Linda Louise Parnell passed away on June 2, 2026, peacefully at the home she shared with her husband, Joley Casey, in Jane, Missouri, after a courageous two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on December 25, 1955, in Borger, Texas, to Troy Parnell and Mary Frank (Smith) Parnell.

Linda spent her childhood in various locations throughout Texas and New Jersey. In 1968, her family moved to Bentonville, Arkansas, where she graduated from Bentonville High School in 1974. She later attended the University of Arkansas and went on to Southern Methodist University for graduate studies. She also obtained her real estate broker's license.

Linda worked in her family's businesses in Northwest Arkansas, including Triangle Builders Supply, as well as in residential and commercial construction and real estate development. She was a highly respected business leader and mentor, known for her expertise in legal and real estate matters.

With her sister, Debbie, Linda founded I'm Your Huckleberry Rescue in honor of their love for animals. She also helped establish a low-cost spay-and-neuter clinic to reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats in McDonald County. Among her other interests were family genealogy, caregiving, gardening, cooking, knitting, and sewing.

Linda is survived by her husband, Joley Casey of Jane, Missouri; her father, Troy Ray Parnell; her sisters, Catherine Sue (Parnell) Johnson, Rebecca Ann (Parnell) Alexander, Debra Kay Parnell, and Sara Lee Parnell; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Frank (Smith) Parnell.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Under the Woods Event Center, 20121 U.S. Hwy 71, Jane, MO 64856.
