Obituary

Lisa Marie Jarvis, a loving daughter, wife, mother, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, surrounded by her closest family and friends. Lisa lived a beautiful life, leaving behind a large family and countless friends who were blessed to know her.

She was born on May 24, 1978, in Wichita, Kansas, to James F. Cox and Margaret Wunderlin. After moving around the Midwest for a few years, Lisa and her mother settled in Joplin, Missouri, where she spent most of her childhood. She graduated from Joplin High School in 1996 and later attended Crowder College and Pittsburg State University.

While attending college, Lisa enrolled in an EMT class where she met Justin Jarvis. What began as a chance encounter with a boy from McDonald County grew into a nearly 27-year marriage. Simply put, they were soulmates. Their marriage was rooted in deep love, laughter, and unwavering partnership. The life they built together was nothing short of extraordinary, and their legacy will carry on forever.

Lisa and Justin purchased their first home in Seneca, Missouri, where they welcomed their first son, Kade, in 2001. After moving to Northwest Arkansas, they welcomed their second son, Jeret, in 2005. Their family was completed with the birth of their daughter, Lexie, in 2010. This "Party of 5" grew together in their home in Gravette, Arkansas. Though Lisa filled many roles in her life, her favorite was simply "Mom".

To say Lisa took her job as "Mom" seriously would be an understatement. She drove her children to school every day and was deeply involved in PTO, classroom celebrations, and field trips. She never missed an opportunity to watch her children shine, whether at dance recitals, cheer clinics, or band competitions. Her natural motherly spirit extended far beyond her own children; many others leaned on her for guidance, encouragement, and laughter.

Lisa was a lifelong Christian who instilled faith in each of her children. At the time of her passing, she was a devoted attendee of Cross Church in Rogers, Arkansas. She also poured her heart into the business she co-founded with her husband - Pinnacle Emergency Vehicles. While her primary responsibilities were billing and accounting, her true impact was found in her "Girl Boss" mentality, her compassion for employees, and her willingness to listen and encourage. Her magnetic personality left a lasting mark on everyone she encountered.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Kenneth Jarvis.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Justin Jarvis; her daughter, Lexie Jarvis; her sons, Kade Jarvis (Peyton Jarvis) and Jeret Jarvis; her mother, Margaret Wunderlin (David Wunderlin); her father, James F. Cox (Karla Cox); her mother-in-law, Linda Jarvis (Don Loveland); her sisters, Mitzi Arnold (Jesse Arnold) and Jodi Macaulay; her brother, James A. Cox; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

There are not enough words to fully describe the impact Lisa had on our lives. Though we no longer see her here on earth, we find peace in knowing exactly where she is, and in the promise that we will see her again someday.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715, followed by a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. (CST). All who knew and loved Lisa are encouraged to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Centerton Animal Shelter. Lisa and her daughter volunteered at the shelter, fostering numerous dogs and puppies before adopting her close companion, Kiki Lola. Link to Donate: https://www.paypal.com/pool/9mNNwiKfi0?sr=wccr
