Loretta Josephine Kryzanek, 86, of Bentonville, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 24, 1938, to Carl Miller and Celsius Majewski Miller.  Her formative years were in Milwaukee.  Her father passed away when she was four years old and she was raised by her stepfather, Robert Levendoski.

Loretta married Richard Kryzanek in 1958 in Milwaukee.  Loretta and Richard had three children, raising their family in East Moline, Illinois.

Loretta was a superb bowler, at one point her team placed 3rd in the state of Michigan.  She and Richard were avid golfers as well.  They retired to Bella Vista in 1993.  Loretta was a classic night owl, after her evening shift as supervisor of the shoe department at Walmart, she often headed to casinos in Oklahoma where she played the slots until daylight.  She loved to host gatherings for friends in her home, her Christmas Eve get-togethers in East Moline were legendary and fondly remembered by those who attended.

Loretta cared deeply about her family and was a kind and caring friend to many in East Moline and NW Arkansas and she will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather; husband; son, David; brother, Leonard Miller; and sister, Norma Miller.

She is survived by sister, Jeannie Johnson (Al); son, Michael (son-in-law Jess Davis and former daughter-in-law Natalie Kryzanek); daughter, Susan Alexander; grandchildren, Andrew Kryzanek, Grace Kryzanek, Emily Jernt and Joseph Alexander; and great-grandchildren, Sophia and Oliver Jernt.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her caretakers at Village on the Park in Bentonville, where she enjoyed her memory care facility and where they made her a hamburger every single day.  There are so many staff members to thank, but the loving care by her primary CNAs - Tabitha, Bailey, Monica and Amanda, and long-time nurse Tammie – will always be remembered and appreciated.  Additional thanks to the team at Circle of Life Hospice.

A special thank you to family friend Donna Sansbury.  Your kind heart has been a blessing.
