Marilyn (Miene) Bozarth, 87, of Bella Vista, passed away September 16, 2023.

Marilyn was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Crawfordsville Indiana.  She has a BA in Education from Ball State University and taught one year before marrying Max Bozarth.  Although she raised her children in Minnesota, she still considered herself a Hoosier.

After moving to Bella Vista to retire Marilyn participated in many activities including golf, Ladies Day Out, and attending community performances.  She loved to play cards and was in many different card groups.  She was accomplished at cross stitch and made time every day to work on her projects.

She is survived by her children, Brad Bozarth and Elizabeth Bozarth, and her sister, Karen Stubbs.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72714.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bella Vista Friends of the Library, 11 Dickens Place, Bella Vista, AR 72714.
