On July 16, 2025, Mario Nicol, husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born on June 16, 1957, in Stahlstown, PA to Mario Nicol, Sr and Margaret Nicol.

Mario was an avid fisherman. He loved going out on his one seater pontoon boat that he built himself. His love for bowling comes in a very close second. Mario also enjoyed deer hunting and cycling. He was a dedicated Boston Red Sox fan and was elated when they finally won a world series.

Mario and his wife enjoyed traveling and would take annual cruises to many beautiful locales.

He was in the US Army for three years and the US Air Force for four years.

Mario retired from Corning Optical Communications in Keller, Texas in 2019, where he was a quality control inspector as well as a top notch machinist.

He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Melanie; twin daughters, Danielle Brice (Eddie), Lindsay Millican (Michael); granddaughter, Rylee Burress; grandson, Ethan Millican; and brother, John Nicol.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at NewLife Christian Church, 103 Riordan Road, Bella Vista, AR 72715. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, AR.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mario's memory can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
