Marion Lloyd Soules, 86, resident of Bella Vista, AR, passed away December 16, 2025. He was born on June 20, 1939, in Roscoe, TX, to Avery Houston and Frankie Bernice Blackstock Soules. On August 15, 1959, he married Bobby Jean Thompson.

He attended Fort Worth Tech High School and began his career in retail as a stockboy at S.H. Kress in Fort Worth, TX, working his way up to manager of the Denison, TX, Kress store by the age of 25. In 1977, he and his family began a second career raising chickens on a farm in Lincoln, AR.

Marion was a jack of all trades, if something needed fixed or replaced or remodeled, he was your man. He especially enjoyed computers and other electronics as a hobby.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Bobby Jean; his parents; and his brother, Bob Soules.

He is survived by his son, Tim Soules and his wife, Dana; his son, Steve Soules; and granddaughter, Olivia Soules.
