Marvin Ray Hughes, age 55 of Maysville, AR passed away Wednesday October 6th, 2021 in his home. He was born March 15th, 1966 in Jay, OK to Lonnie and Sue Hughes.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents John and Jewell Lukens, his paternal grandparents Alvin and Deon Hughes, his father Lonnie Hughes, his is Uncle Floyd Hughes, and his grandson John Dean Hughes.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years Lisa Hughes. His children Seth Hughes of Maysville, AR, Joni Wyatt (John) of Claremont, NH, Amber Hughes of Maysville, AR. His 7 grandchildren, Autumn, Logan, James, Dale, Blaine, Carolina, and Kolt. Also his mother Sue Smith of Gentry, AR.

Marvin was member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and played drums for the church. He loved music. He began playing drums at the age of 16. He also thoroughly enjoyed cooking with his son for family and friends, Going camping at Roaring River, and riding bikes with his wife and friends.

Marvin's Celebration of Life will be Saturday October 16th at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Heart Association.
