Terry Anderson passed away Saturday May 28, 2022. She was born May 13, 1945, to George and Mary Hollingsworth in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Terry's younger years were spent moving a lot since her father was active duty in the US Navy. She often spoke about her time in Hawaii. The family finally settled in San Diego, California where she met and married her husband Don Anderson on February 13 1966. Terry loved supporting her husband through his long career as Marine. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and great grandmother; the Rock of the family. She loved her family and was in her element at family gatherings. A bundle of energy she could always get things done. Terry was an avid and very accomplished stitcher. She has done some beautiful work and helped so many get better. Terry was dedicated to her church. She served on the vestry and as Junior Warden. Her passion was the Alter Guild. She called it her service to good.
She is survived by her husband Don who misses her greatly, their two Golden Retrievers, Boomer and Christina; a brother George Hollingsworth; her sons Tony (Becky) Anderson, Nick (Sharon) Anderson; her daughter Debbie (Scott) Woodham. There are six grandchildren, Erin (Joe), Ryan (Austin), Shane (Marisa), Collin (Hannah), Katelyn (Garrett) and Brandon. There are almost 4 great grandkids, Aiden, Nathan, Mason, and Landon to be born on June 10 th . There are also so many great friends who loved her.
The celebration of life will be held at St Theodore's Episcopal Church, Kingsland Road, Bella Vista, Arkansas Saturday June 4 th at 11am. In lieu of flowers she would like donations to the St. Theodore Alter Guild. The service at the church will be live streamed.
