Michael Kirk Collins, 61, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at his home after a long illness. Those that knew him admired his strength and courage.

He was born in Havana, Illinois on February 6, 1964, the son of Kirk and Beverly (Edwards). He married Jennifer Collins in Eureka Springs on May 12, 2006, she survives.

Mike worked as a mechanic. He loved riding his Harley, fishing, watching car movies, a lifelong Chicago Bears fan, and listening to vinyl records on his vintage stereo system. He especially enjoyed Merle Haggard. After he moved to Arkansas, he began to experience traveling to different places. Mike looked forward to his annual trip to Aruba. It was where he felt at peace and ate his weight in grouper.

Mike was a son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, and dog father. He loved all his friends and family very deeply. His four puppies Zoey, Roxy, Sadie, and Ginger were his world. He will be terribly missed by his loved ones, extended family, and friends who treasured him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; many loving relatives; and his beloved puppies.

Per his wishes, a celebration of life will occur at a later date.
