Mike Lahman, 59, of Bella Vista, AR passed away on May 29, 2024.

Mike was a remarkable man of much knowledge and many talents. He graduated from Osseo Minnesota High School and joined the Navy with his buddy, John. He was stationed in San Diego, California aboard the USS George Phillips.

After discharge, Mike tinkered in many different things, from working on cars, making furniture and toys, cabinetry, and carpenter work. He was an overall handyman just like his dad was. He was a cabinet maker and carpenter by trade, most recently self employed before moving to Bella Vista.

Mike enjoyed making things out of wood and watching football, especially the Broncos. He was an avid fisherman and spent many years going to the Boundary Waters in northern Minnesota with the guys. He loved the outdoors, kayaking, camping, and of course fishing. Mike loved the simple life. He would often joke that he could live off the land with his dog and a frying pan.

Mike loved and adored spending time with his kids, grandchildren, and his constant companion, Maggie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin, and JoAnn Lahman.

He is survived by his beloved dog, Maggie; children, Jacob, Duane, and Amber; grandchildren, Carsen, Noah, Myles, Ayvah, and Theodore; sisters, Mary Jo Newgard (Tom), Beverly Joyer (Tim); brother, Larry (Jane); his greatest friend and Boundary Waters fishing partner, John Zeka; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
