Myra McGraw Seab, 79, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed peacefully on April 4, 2026, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. Born February 13, 1947, Myra was a librarian for many years, serving as a young adult librarian with the East Baton Rouge Parish Library, and was a lifelong Presbyterian.

An avid beekeeper and orchid grower, Myra also loved storytelling and sharing books and stories with young readers throughout her career.

Myra was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lane Seab, Jr., to whom she was married for 52 years.

She is survived by her three daughters: Julie Hettel (Fred Hettel), Susan Thomas (Allen Thomas Jr.), and Carolyn Drinkard (Shaun Drinkard); three grandsons, Luke, Wylie, and Wynton; three granddaughters, Mary, Lauren, and Hannah; her nephew, Dr. William (Billy) Burt; her niece, Laurie Jordan; and her sister-in-law, Betty Burt.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715. Burial will follow in Baton Rouge at Roselawn Memorial Park.
