Naomi Sumrall age 95, of Bella Vista Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2023, surrounded by her children. She was born on August 12, 1927, at Mt. View, OK to Henry Denton Mitchell and Mary Casora Mitchell- She was the youngest of eight children and the last to survive. She grew up in western OK during the depression.

She married Emmett H. Sumrall on January 21, 1947, in Oklahoma City, OK. They had four children and moved their young family to a farm in Tanyard Hollow near Bentonville, AR in 1963. Naomi worked at Wendt Sonis for 10 years before going to work at Walmart for the remainder of her career. She started her Walmart career at Waltons Five and Dime. In retirement she loved to garden, work in her yard, and take long walks with her neighbor.

Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett after 52 years of marriage; son, David K. Sumrall; and an infant granddaughter, Shelly Lee Warren.

She is survived by her son, Michael H. Sumrall and wife, Judy; daughters, Nora Kay Coler and Connie Lee Myers; ten grandchildren, Krystal Warren, Julia Frazier, Stephen D. Coler, Erin Morrell, Ryan Sumrall, Nathan Warren Richard Buckingham, Paige McDaniel, Debbie Davis, and Mandy Stolt. She had 19 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Naomi's memory to a charity of donor's choice.
