Nina Erlene Marts, 97, passed away July 14, 2022 at Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility in Stockton, MO.  She was born March 11, 1925 in Brookfield, MO;  the only child of Emil and Hazel (Perry) Miller.

She graduated from Brookfield High School in 1943.  She moved to Kansas City shortly after high school where she worked for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company.  There she met the love of her life, Fred Marts.  They were married August 30, 1947 and enjoyed 56 years until Fred's death October 18, 2003.  She never removed her wedding ring.

They relocated from Kansas City to Wichita, KS, where they raised two children, Jennifer and Jeff.  They retired to Bella Vista, AR in 1985 where she enjoyed living for 37 years.  Her favorite room in her home was her screened porch overlooking Lake Ann.  She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Bella Vista Community Church.

Survivors include her daughter Jennifer Plymate and husband Ron of Stockton, MO.  Son Jeff Marts and wife Vicki of Bella Vista, AR.  Grandson, Matthew Plymate, great granddaughters Kaylee and Madalynn Plymate of Stockton, MO.  Adopted son, Harold Ketcherside and wife Deb of Wichita, KS.

Funeral service will be held at Bella Vista Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 with visitation from 1:00 to 2:30, with funeral at 2:30.

Graveside service will follow immediately after at Bella Vista Memorial Garden Cemetery.
