Patricia Anne Barker Crofutt, 85, of Bella Vista, AR passed away peacefully on October 9th, at Circle of Life Hospice, following a courageous battle with heart disease. Known by her friends as 'Pat', she was born on July 4, 1940, in Yorkshire, England and was the daughter of Harry and Mary Wells.

Prior to married life, Pat served in the Women's Royal Army Corps, in the British army. Later, while living for many years in the United Kingdom, she enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the British Isles and Europe.

Known as the life and soul of the party, Pat never met a stranger. She relished life, as exampled both by her tireless feeding of all manner of critters that visited her house, and her love of her trips to Las Vegas. Most of all, she adored spending time with her family, spoiling her grandchildren shamelessly.

Pat was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Wells and her sons, Stephen Barker and Gary Barker.

Pat is survived by her son, Richard (Thressa) Barker of Murfreesboro TN; her daughter, Marianne (Randy) Elliston of Bella Vista AR; grandchildren, Darryl, James, Ashley, Austin, Ian and Tyler; and great grandchildren, Freja, Cameron, Addie, Lila, Luke, Josiah, and Elias.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, Oct 14, 2025, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715. The family invites friends to meet after the service at 4 Bempton Lane, Bella Vista, AR for refreshments.

Pat will be missed by the many people who know her. She will be remembered for her generous nature and lively sense of humor.
