Ralph Rogers
Revier, Jr
Dec 6, 1932 — Feb 12, 2026
Bella Vista
Ralph Rogers Revier Jr, of Bella Vista, AR, passed away in Rogers, AR on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Rogers was born to Ralph and Ailsie Revier on a farm outside of Denton, Texas on December 6, 1932. He was the oldest of five children, four of whom were sisters.
At the age of 7 the family moved into town to Irving, Texas where he began attending public schools. Since he was not accustomed to being around other children, he contracted every childhood disease available. Consequently, he had to repeat the first grade. This placed him in the same class as Barbara Jean Reese, whom he later married and with whom he spent 63 years. Barbara, the love of his life, graduated to Heaven in 2014.
In the mid 1980's Rogers and Barbara moved to a lake house on Lake Tawakoni in east Texas where they eventually retired. During that time, they became very involved with Faith Baptist Church where Rogers was a Deacon and Treasurer. Barbara assisted with the children in Sunday School. They then moved to Bella Vista in 2002, at which time they joined First Baptist Church, Bentonville.
Rogers committed 43 years of his working life to the banking industry where he retired as a Vice President of Loan Operations. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering in his shop and spending time with his family. Rogers was a kind, loving Christian man and will be missed by all.
Rogers is survived by his oldest son, Rogers Alan Revier (Janice), and second son, Paul Eugene Revier; grandchildren, Amy Ann Revier Shell (Randy), Stacey Dawn Revier Ashworth (Andy), Amanda Noel Revier Brown (Josh) and Alexander Kai Revier (Sara); great grandchildren, Madison Ann Shell, Reese Alan Shell, Ella Kathryn Ashworth and William Andrew Ashworth; and sister, Beth Ross (Sam).
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Bentonville, 200 SW A Street, Bentonville, AR 72712, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Bella Vista Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Bella Vista, AR.
