Ramon Frank Rigenhagen, 83, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at his home in Bella Vista, Arkansas. He was born June 17, 1939, in Mountain Lake, Minnesota, to Frank and Inga (Johnson) Rigenhagen.
Frank was a 1957 graduate of Triumph Monterey High School and later attended Dunwoody Technical School. After serving in the U.S. Army, he started Rigenhagen TV Service & Sales in Trimont, Minnesota, later opening a second store in nearby Fairmont. This was followed by a career in the U.S. Postal Service, from which he partially retired in 1983 to co-found the satellite programming company TeleView. He later moved to Gravette, Arkansas, in 1989, where he worked for the Shepherd's Chapel for more than 25 years.
He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and stayed busy in his spare time with various jobs and hobbies, such as piloting private planes, repairing and installing electronics, blueberry farming, collecting treasures and pursuing entrepreneurial activities.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mikki Schneider; and his grandson, Richard L. Rigenhagen.
He is survived by sisters, Ione Thompson of Loudon, TN, and Ruth (Phil) Rose of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Franklin (Carol) Rigenhagen of Meridian, ID; children, Rhonda (Stephen Jones) Rigenhagen of San Diego, CA, R. Lee Rigenhagen of Towanda, PA , Renee (Martin Monson) Rigenhagen of Louisville, KY, Rachel (Randy Risch) Rigenhagen of Appleton, MN, Rick (Chelsea) Rigenhagen of Howell, MI, and Karah Rigenhagen Kinkead of Bella Vista; grandchildren Mars, Harrison, Reno, Liam, Annika, August, Raiden, Reeselyn, Jameson and Coltrane; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service to honor Frank's life will be held on Friday, June 16 th , 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veterans Council of Northwest Arkansas, Inc., 101 Veterans Way, Bella Vista, AR 72714.
