Richard C. Lea

Our father, Richard Carl Lea, unexpectedly left this world on June 29, 2022 in his home in Bella Vista, Arkansas.

He was born in 1951 in Joplin Missouri. Richard went on to serve for 20 years in the US Air Force, retiring as a Master Sargent and Crew Chief.  He then worked as a mechanic and was later promoted to Crew Chief for American Airlines for 31 years.

Preceded in death by his parents, Willard A. Lea and Virginia L. Lea.

Richard is survived by three children, Lory Lea/Tinney, Tracy Lea/Ray, Jerod Lea, and five grandchildren.  He is also survived by his older brother, Dennis Lea.

Richard was a true patriot, fiercely loyal to his family, friends and country. He also had a great love for motorcycles, cars, airplanes and Star Trek. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.

A celebration of life event is planned for the near future.
