Robert (Paul) Davis, 77, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, July 12, 2021, at Northwest Hospital.

He was born in Waukegan, IL on December 15, 1943, to Donald McKinney and Janet Allison (Wyllie) Davis.

Paul graduated from Waukegan High School in 1961.   He attended Western Illinois for 2 years and then joined the United States Air Force in 1966 and was deployed to the Vietnam War in 1967 and returned home in 1968.   He married Betty M. Oswalt on September 25, 1965.   His first job after returning from Vietnam was with Southwestern Bell-ATT&T where he would retire from after 30 years.

Paul enjoyed golfing, fishing, and most importantly wood carving; in which he was most passionate about carving Christmas ornaments for the children of family and friends.   He loved Colorado, where he and Betty spent so many vacations through the years.   He loved hiking and fishing in the mountains as well as visiting friends.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, twin brothers John and Don Davis and sister-in-law Karleen Davis.

Paul is survived by his wife of 57 years Betty Davis, his son Scott Davis and wife Mary and grandchildren Connor, Lily, and Cooper of Flower Mound, Tx., sister-in-law Kay Davis of Mountain Home, Ark., and many nephews and nieces and great-nephews and nieces.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Highlands Church in Bella Vista.   Refreshments and snacks to follow in the church gathering room.
