Robert D. Edney, 87, passed away on July 15, 2026, in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Robert was born October 7, 1938, to Esther Crider Edney and Alton Edney, in Junction City, Kansas. He was one of 10 children - 7 sisters and 4 brothers.

He served as specialist-RA 18524865 in the US Army Airborne. Robert was a frequent golfer for many years as a resident of Bella Vista. He met Valerie on the golf course, and they lived together until his death.

Robert is survived by his lady, Valerie Katz and his brother, Larry Edney. He had no children.
