Ronald Thomas Stockman, age 85, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, went to be with our Lord on July 11, 2023.

Born in Chicago, Ron spent his career working in the steel mills. Upon retirement, he spent 23 years in Bella Vista serving the Lord, friends, and his family. Ron lived by faith and love, always ready to listen, always ready for a good laugh and always ready just to be with anyone who needed his comfort.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Bernice Stockman, as well as his first wife, Maxine Stockman.

Ron leaves his legacy with his loving wife, Barb Compton; his son, Chris Stockman, and daughter-in-law, Jacqui; his son, Greg Stockman, and daughter-in-law, Lynn; his daughter, Kelly Stockman; his daughter, Michelle Hood; son-in-law James; his grandsons, Kevin and Sean Stockman. Ron also leaves behind his stepsons, Brad and Trey Warnhoff; stepdaughter, Sara Herbert, step grand and great grandchildren as well as eight siblings and their families.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72714.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bella Vista Community Church Choir.
