Rose Marie Boner, 94, of Bella Vista, AR, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on November 13, 1930, in Keokuk, IA to Edward and Marie Porth Wilkens.

On August 12, 1953, she married Joseph Boner and moved to Lohrville, IA, where they farmed.  He preceded her in death on April 5, 2011.

She was a nurse at several different places throughout her career.  She was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church in Bella Vista, and she enjoyed golfing, gardening, crocheting, and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Chuck Wilkens and Paul Wilkens; and one sister, Emmarie Wilkens.

She is survived by one daughter, Joanne (Ron) Yousey of Bentonville, AR; two grandchildren, Carissa (Justin) Reckenbecker and Katelyn Yousey; and one great granddaughter.

A private service will be held at a later date.
