Rosemary Delap Mondale, 104, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away February 28, 2022, in Rogers, Arkansas.  Rosemary was born July 14, 1917, in Kansas City, Missouri to Darwin and Elizabeth (Pierce) Delap.

Rosemary graduated from Kansas University. She worked for BMA insurance in Kansas City as an Actuarial Assistant where women were promoted due to men being at war. She also worked at Towers, Perrin, Forster & Crosby Actuarial consultants in Philadelphia.

Rosemary married R. Lester Mondale in 1961 in Michigan.

Rosemary, with her mother, founded the Kansas City chapter of Campfire Girls and was lifelong friends with its members. She and her husband were founding members of the Ironton Great Books group.

Rosemary moved to Bella Vista in July of 2015 from Ironton, Missouri.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother Darwin (Doris) Delap and his son Kenneth; step-daughters, Ellen S. Mondale, Tarand (Donald) Swenstad and several brothers-in-law including Vice President Walter F. Mondale.

Rosemary is survived by her nephew Stephen (Mary Jane) Delap of Medina Ohio; step-daughters, Karen S. Mondale of Saint Louis, Missouri, Julia K. (Jim) Jensen of Bella Vista, Arkansas and 7 step-grandchildren.
