Ruperto
Saez
Dec 1, 1929 — Dec 3, 2023
Bella Vista
Ruperto Saez, 94, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away quietly on December 3rd in His Lord's year of 2023. He was held in the tender arms of his loving wife, Manuela as his soul went to be with his Savior Jesus Christ. He was born on December 1, 1929, to Luisa and Ramon Saez in Cienfuegos, Cuba. He shared his close-knit childhood with his beloved sister, Luisa Saez de Ambros of Miami, FL, who survives him.
After attending The University of Havana, Ruperto went on to start his first job at Record, a successful uniform and hat manufacturing company started by his father Ramon, in Havana, Cuba. As the Cuban Revolution intensified, the family moved to Miami, established themselves, and became proud citizens of these United States of America.
In 2008, Rupert retired from his career in Bookkeeping, moved from bustling Miami, and spent his time relaxing with his wife, Manuela in the serene surroundings of Bella Vista, AR. He enjoyed stamp collecting, visits from his grand-dogs, and was an exceptional storyteller with tales from old Cuba that could hold his audience breathless.
Ruperto was preceded in death by Sylvia Saez, his wife, and the wonderfully caring mother to their three children, Roberto, Ana, and Vivian, who she lovingly watches over from Heaven.
He is survived by his deeply devoted wife, Manuela 'Kary' Saez; his son, Dr. Roberto Saez and his wife, Susan, all of Bella Vista, Arkansas; eldest daughter, Ana Robinette, and her husband, Steve, of Miami, Florida; and youngest daughter, Vivian Rodriguez, and her husband Hiram, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
A Spanish speaking mass in honor of Ruperto's life will be held in the Chapel at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1416 W Poplar Street, Rogers, AR 72758, on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 10am. May he rest in peace.
Arrangements are being made by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory. Online condolences can be left at www.funeralmation.com.
