Russ Sanders, 59, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, went to be with his creator Saturday, December 7, 2024, while passing through Gentry, Arkansas.

Russell Reid Sanders was born May 30, 1965, to Billy and Shirley Sanders of Vaiden, Mississippi. Russ graduated from East Holmes Academy and attended Mississippi State University and Louisiana Tech. He was a follower of Jesus Christ and a faithful friend of Bill Wilson. Russ was the senior vice president of sales at Coast to Coast Self Storage Mfg. He most recently enjoyed playing the part of Santa Claus to help spread happiness to children. Hotty Toddy.

Russ was preceded in death by his father, William B. Sanders and his grandparents, Donald K. Ray, Wilma Killpatrick, B. Bernhard Sanders and Louise R. Herring.

Russ is survived by his wife Kathy Caldwell, his children: Jarrett and Jordan, Matt and Lindsey Baber, his five grandchildren: Abigail, Allie, Bryce, Brian, and Leighton, his mother Shirley Ray Sanders, his brothers Bill and Chad, and one niece and three nephews.

Services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 20 Boyce Dr., Bella Vista, AR 72715, and Monday, January 20, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 1221 N Elm Pl, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
