Ruth Naomi Henning, 68, Bella Vista, was taken home to heaven after a battle with breast cancer on March 2, 2022. She was born May 2 ^nd , 1953, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to William John and Ellen Ruth (Wood) Henning.

She moved with her family to Minnesota in her youth. She graduated high school (class of '71) in Moorhead, Minnesota, then attended Trinity Western Junior College in Langley, BC. She finished her education at Moorhead State College, with a degree in teaching. In the early 80's, she followed her grandparents, Roger and Julia Wood, to Coos Bay, Oregon to assist them as they aged and continued working there in a doctor's office after they passed. In 1992, she moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas to join her parents who had retired here. She also cared for her paternal grandmother, Myrtle Tyler, who lived with her in Bella Vista until 1996. Ruth worked in medical records with Northwest Health Systems for 28 years until her retirement in 2020.

During her early years, she was involved in FCYF youth group, she was a beloved camp counselor at Cooperstown Bible Camp in North Dakota. She was a Sunday School teacher, and a leader for AWANA kids club in Minnesota. She was a dedicated member and servant of Village Bible EFC, in Bella Vista, where she tended to many activities. These included: Oasis Food Pantry, Financial Secretary, and Audio/Visual Assistant for services presentation and displays, among other things. She had dedicated her entire life to serving Our Lord Jesus and will be greatly missed here on Earth, but is rejoicing above us on streets of gold, free from pain and suffering.

Ruth was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Ruth Henning, brother-in-law, Mike Johnson, and sister-in-law, Beth Henning.

Ruth is survived by her father, William Henning, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; two brothers, Roger (and wife Linda), Mike (and wife Nancy), both of Minnesota; and one sister, Carol Johnson, of Springdale, Arkansas. She also has three nephews, Jeff, Kyle, and Bill, three nieces, Katie, Tami, and Mikayla, along with 11 great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., April 2, 2022, at the Village Bible EFC.
