Ruth "Coleen" Ramey, 92, of Gravette, AR died Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville, AR. Coleen was born in Gravette, AR on July 5, 1930, to Johnny Ewing Puryear and Alice Marie Reese Puryear.

Coleen married Myron M. Ramey on April 3, 1949, by her grandfather, Henry Reese, in her parents' home in Gravette, AR. They moved to California in 1955 where they lived until 1991 when they moved back to Gravette, AR after retiring. She was a member of Bella Vista Assembly of God Church.

Coleen was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brothers, Jack Lee Puryear and John Henry Puryear; sister, Maxine Puryear; and daughter-in-law, Sharon K. Ramey.

She is survived by her two sons, Johnny M. Ramey of Gravette, AR and Kenneth C. Ramey and wife, Susan of Thousand Oaks, CA; one daughter, Kathern Marie Phelps and husband, Neal of Gravette, AR; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; brother, Bill Puryear and wife, Barbara of Hiwasse, AR; sister, Barbara Jo Kirkpatrick and husband, Cliff of Wichita, KS; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Bella Vista Assembly of God Church, 1771 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715 on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. and then a graveside service at Daniels Cemetery, Gravette, AR. Pastor Kevin Stowe will officiate. Pallbearers will be Glenn Puryear, Terry Puryear, Richard Puryear, Scott Puryear, James Martin, Phil Smith, and Jerrad Badders.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bella Vista Assembly of God Church, 1771 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715.
