Sandra Joyce Evett,  84, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024, after suffering a stroke. She was in the presence of her devoted husband of over 42 years, Doug Evett, who held her hand and gently stroked her hair in her final moments.

Sandra retired from the Boy Scouts of America, a career which she enjoyed and found fulfilling. Sandra loved walking, hiking, and traveling, and, alongside her husband, Doug, she formed cherished friendships with others who shared these passions across several states. She especially enjoyed her years as a member of the American Volkssport Association. Muffin, her beloved Yorkie, who brought her endless joy and companionship for 18 wonderful years, would often join her and her and Doug on their adventures.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Doug; her daughter, Teresa; her son, Frank; her son-in-law, Nathan; her two granddaughters, Natasha and Jessica; along with 11 great grandchildren.
