Shirley Jean (Powley) Andrew, of Bella Vista, AR, passed away on May 28, 2026. She was born on December 24, 1934, to George and Iris Powley in Woodbine, Iowa. Upon high school graduation, she moved to Omaha, Nebraska to work for Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company where she was a key punch operator for 15 years.

A mutual friend introduced her to Lyle Andrew, and they were married in 1959. To this union two daughters were born, Shelley and Christine.

Shirley loved being involved with her church family at Christ Community Church in Omaha and Bella Vista Bible in Bella Vista, Bible Study Fellowship, and enjoyed camping with her family, sewing, crocheting, quilting, and baking.

Shirley is survived by Lyle, her husband of 66 years; daughters, Shelley (Dallas) of Wichita, Kansas and Christine (David) Johnson of Bentonville, Arkansas; grandsons, Andrew (Morgan) Hewett of Chugiak, Alaska, Daniel Johnson of Bella Vista, Arkansas, William Johnson of Bentonville, Arkansas, Josiah Johnson of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and granddaughters, Sarah (Paul) Swanland of Anchorage, Alaska, and Hannah Hewett of Wichita, Kansas; and five great-grandchildren of Alaska.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Village Bible Church, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715, followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. The family will gather for a graveside committal service followed by a lunch reception in the church fellowship hall.
