Shirley Jane Schlingman (Wisdom), 91, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Peter Schlingman. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her sharp sense of humor and her unwavering, deep love for her family.

Shirley's greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her spirit. She was a woman of deep faith who loved Jesus and found great joy in cooking and caring for those she loved. She also cherished the many days spent playing golf alongside Peter.

The family will hold a private service to celebrate her life. She will be laid to rest at Fayetteville National Cemetery, reunited at last with her Peter.
