Sidney Wayne Shaw, age 80, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born in Mobile, Alabama, and raised in Greenville, Mississippi, by his parents, Joseph David Shaw and Mildred Harris Shaw.

Sidney was the proud owner and founder of Mako Products, a company he built with dedication, vision, and integrity. A devoted family man and loyal friend, Sidney was known for his love of fishing, golf, hunting, and playing cards on Friday nights—pastimes that brought him great joy and lifelong friendships.

Sidney was a member of First Baptist Church in Grove, Oklahoma, where his faith and community were important parts of his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Laura Shaw; children, Stephanie Lacey, Thad Shaw (wife Ginger), Craig Shaw, Lance Shaw (wife Carly), and Ryan Cole; his sister, Nancy Clark (husband Bob); 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mildred Shaw; brothers Ed Shaw and Bob Shaw; and sister Francis Payne.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR, followed by a celebration of life at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life lived with passion, purpose, and love.
