Stanford "Stan" Dale Barnett, 91, of Rogers, Arkansas died Friday, May 1, 2026, at Circle of Life Hospice-Legacy in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born on January 10, 1935, in Denham Springs, Louisiana to James Marron Barnett and Evelyn Taylor.

He was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  He was a devout Christian and of Baptist faith. His favorite pastime was watching all LSU sports, spending time with his family and grandchildren, playing bingo and cards, hunting and fishing, and learning and studying the Word of God.

Stanford graduated from Istrouma High School.  He enlisted in the United States Army and was a member of the Signal Corps and served in the Korean War until his Honorable Discharge in 1952.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Barnett; one daughter, Lesley Barnett; stepdaughter, Mary Johnson; and two sons, Brandon Barnett and Keith Barnett.

He is survived by his daughters, Tanyan Lewis and husband, James of Bentonville, AR, Tamatha Daigle and husband, Kenneth of Denham Springs, LA; Ricky Barnett and wife, Kathy of Port Allen, LA, Mike Barnett of Port Allen, LA, Colette Neeley and husband, Wyatt of Plaquemine, LA; stepchildren: Melvin Johnson of Lake Bruin, LA, Julia Britt of Cranfield, MS, Bert Franks of Prairieville, LA; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and companion, Elsie Kinion.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., and burial at Bella Vista Cemetery.
