Stanley Everett Stripe, 75, of Milton, FL, passed away on November 8, 2023. He was born on November 19, 1947, in Little York, IL, to the late Everett H. Stripe and Margaret "Stripe" Anderson. Stan was a dedicated father, grandfather and husband whose unwavering determination and commitment to excellence served as a powerful source of inspiration to motivate all around him to pursue their dreams.

Early in life, Stan was a passionate educator dedicated to teaching auto mechanics and welding at the Galesburg High School Area Vocational Center and Carl Sandburg College.  Nurturing the minds of countless students, Stan's unwavering belief in the potential of his students left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of being in his classrooms.

After spending over 20 years teaching, Stan transitioned into the role of a process engineer and business leader in the field of elastomeric extrusion and molding. His extensive knowledge and innovative thinking propelled this dynamic manufacturing industry forward leaving a lasting impact.

His lifelong love affair with driving fast cars built a legacy that extends across the country.  Stan's passion for racecars inspired an entire generation of racers. His need for speed and competition ignited a flame that burns brightly today through countless individuals who embrace the thrill of the adrenaline-fueled world of racing.

His memory will live on in the minds and potential of all who had the privilege of being influenced by him.

Stan joins his wife, Lynn, whom he could not live without here on earth.

They are survived by their children, Dana Stripe and wife, Nicole Stripe of Henryville, IN, and Rana Nall and husband, Chad Nall of Bella Vista, AR;  grandchildren, Logan Stripe, Myla Stripe, Ayden and Asher Nall; and their beloved dogs Maggie, Smudge, and Wednesday, who are cherished members of the family.

A celebration of life visitation for both Stan and Lynn will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Henry Knox Room at the Old County Court House on the square in Knoxville, Illinois.

In honor of Stan's memory, the family kindly requests cards be sent to the Nall Residence at 48 Camborne Dr Bella Vista AR 72714.
