Steven Michael Taylor, age 70, of Pine Hills, Florida, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Jamestown Nursing & Rehab in Rogers, Arkansas.

Born on January 17, 1956, in Orlando, FL., he was the son of Kathleen Wadsworth and Robert Taylor. Steve lived a life full of kindness, laughter, love, good times, and hard work. He graduated from Evans High School and went on to build a career as a Jeweler. He pursued gemology, earning multiple credentials, and eventually achieved his dream of owning his own store.

Outside of work, Steve had a true passion for the outdoors. He loved surfing, fishing, boating, and basketball. He was an avid sports fan, always cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and the Florida Gators. He also found great joy in music, movies, animals, and a wide variety of various hobbies.

Dad was known for his kind nature, free spirit, and his incredible ability to talk to anyone. He truly never met a stranger, he seemed to know someone almost everywhere he went, even when traveling in other countries. His inviting personality and genuine lust for life were infectious, leaving his loved ones with countless memories. Above all, he was a proud father, grandfather, son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend who loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kathleen and Robert, as well as his stepfather, Edward Cearfoss, for whom he held great admiration.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Steven Shane Taylor (Nikki), Jenee White (Marcus), and Jennifer Taylor-Dunn (Brian); his grandchildren, Cody Taylor, Briley Taylor, Corby Taylor, Layne Abbott, Reese White, and Hannah White; his great-grandchildren, Stevie Jo and Beau Taylor; and his siblings, Cynthia "Cindy" Taylor and Robert "Bobby" Taylor Jr. (Becky), and their children, Brett, Jordan, Rachel, Courtney and their families.

A celebration of life will take place in the Spring of 2027, details to be determined and shared later. All those who love Steve are welcome.

In lieu of traditional arrangements, the family asks that any flowers, thoughts, or well wishes be sent to Shane’s residence, so they can be shared with the family and with Dad’s wonderful nurses at Jamestown and staff of Circle of Life.
