Sylvia Lee, 104, passed away on October 2, 2022, of natural causes. She was born September 2, 1918, in Osborne County, Kansas to the late Alfred and Minnie Langley Rogers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee.

Sylvia grew up on a farm outside of Luray, Kansas. She graduated from Luray High School, where she played basketball, and obtained a degree from Fort Hayes State College. She was a teacher and homemaker. She was a long time member and Sunday school teacher at North Cross Methodist Church in Kansas City, Kansas, and a member of the Bella Vista Community Church.

Sylvia enjoyed many activities including painting, ceramics, playing bridge and other card games, and sports (skiing and golf). She was an avid fan of many college sports teams of universities attended by her children and grandchildren, as well as the Kansas City Chiefs. Sylvia and her late husband, Richard, spent much of their retirement traveling with friends, playing golf, and visiting friends.

She is survived by her three sons, Rick (Donna) Lee of Florence, Arizona, Tim (Andrea) Lee of Houston, Texas, and Ken (Bambi Sullivan) Lee of Littleton, Colorado; six grandchildren, Bobbi Rowe, Jeri (Jim) Gardner, Jamie (Brian) Miller, Alexandra (Chris) Tuohy, Kelsey (Alan) Boyd and Brett Lee and nine great-grandchildren.

Sylvia will be cremated and laid to rest with her husband, Richard in Bella Vista Memorial Gardens.
