Thomas Michael
Taglavore
Aug 15, 1949 — Apr 13, 2022
Bella Vista
Thomas Michael Taglavore was born August 15, 1949, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Joseph and Chattie L.V. (Brown) Taglavore and passed away at the age of 72 on April 13, 2022 at his residence.
Tommy graduated in 1967, from the 7 th Day Adventist Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona and attended Phoenix College. He served as an Army Medic from 1969 to1975 and completed a tour in Vietnam while attached to the 71 st Medevac Hospital located in Pleiku. After his return from Vietnam, he built a successful Auto Upholstery shop, simply known as "Tag's Auto Upholstery" on Camelback Road in Phoenix. He was a staple in the automotive industry, referred to as "Tag" for over 25 years, and helped establish the family's love of cars. In 1993, he decided to go back to the medical field where he could help others as he once had. He retired in 2013 from the Fayetteville Veterans Medical Center where he was a Respiratory Therapist providing medical care to his Veteran comrades.
Tommy "Tag" is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Michelle; his only child Angela Marie Taglavore; his grandson Abrum Michael Warren, all of Bella Vista; his brothers Alphonse Taglavore and family of Dallas, Anthony Taglavore and family of Nashville, Patrick Taglavore and family of Maryland; his sister Virginia Taglavore and family also of Maryland.
Tom had the biggest heart, always providing assistance to anyone in need. He was always a road warrior and Good Samaritan, insisting on stopping at auto accidents or events needing medical attention. Always eager to lend a hand, you could count on him. He had a close relationship with our Lord and everyone who knew him knew he was a good man. Family and friends will greatly miss him.
A casual celebration of Tag's life is being planned for family and friends in the upcoming days. He will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix at a later date. May our Lord welcome him with open arms.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory. On-line condolences may be made at www.funeralmation.com.
