Vera Moorman of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, age 99, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Friday, November 25, 2022. Vera was born on March 4, 1923, to John and Lillian Frick in Atwood, Kansas.

Vera loved watching sports on TV and particularly watching the Arkansas Razorbacks and the NFL Raiders. She loved being with the family and would have some of the grandchildren stay with her during the summer in Sulphur Springs. She was a member of the Sulphur Springs Friendly Neighbors Club and United Methodist Church in Sulphur Springs. Vera loved working on the farm and gardening. She was brush hogging her land on her David Brown tractor while in her earlier 90s.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Moorman; son, Bob Moorman; granddaughter, Kim Moorman; and six brothers and sisters.

She is survived by daughter, Brenda Yates (Dan) of Sulphur Springs, AR; daughter-in-law, Teresa Moorman; grandchildren, Tracy Moorman (Jennifer) of Sulphur Springs, AR, Josh Stone (Megan-fiancée) of Sulphur Springs, AR, Whitney Sharp (Jeremy) of Springdale, AR, Colt Moorman (Abby-fiancée) of Sulphur Springs, AR; and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 2, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715. Burial will follow at the Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas.
