Weldon "Doug" Evett, 84, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away on the night of February 18, 2025, unexpectedly. He suffered from COPD and heart related issues which were the determining factors in his death.

Till the end, Doug was a jokester and loved to keep family and friends laughing. He loved to go volksmarching and admired Harley Davidson motorcycles throughout the years.

There were many achievements that Doug accomplished during his life that he was very proud of. He enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged, attended UTA and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business, and maintaining a job with Nokia as an accountant in which he retired from.

With the long life that he lived Doug shared it with the woman that he adored, Sandra Joyce Evett. He took care of her till her ending, in which he passed 3 months after her.

Doug was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Joyce Evett and dog, "muffin".

Doug is survived by daughter, Theresa Harrington and husband, Nathan Mitchell; son, Frank Hodge; granddaughters, Natasha Vazquez and Jessica Hodge; and great grandchildren, Kyle Oglesby, Damion Chavez, Julian Chavez, Arailea Chavez, Azalea Chavez, Mario Vazquez, Violet Vazquez, Sandra Vazquez, Brooklyn Vazquez, and Gerardo Vazquez.
