Wesley "Hank" Haynes Morris, 86, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, died peacefully at home on Friday, February 28, 2025. He was born on November 29, 1938, to Grady and Sibyl (Wakley) Morris in Umpire, Arkansas, where he grew up.

After high school, he was drafted into the United States Army and served overseas in Germany for over three years. After the military, he began working in construction and was employed by McPherson Contracting Inc. for over 20 years.

In 1989, he married Laura Jo (Smiley), and they settled in Topeka, Kansas. On the weekends, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and, in the winter, enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs play.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Linda Davis and Maxine Tallant, and his twin brother, James Morris.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Jo; two sons from his first marriage, Mike and Jon Morris; three sisters, Helen (Richard) Todd, Gayla (Donnie) Williamson, and Judy Seals; two brothers, Warren (Robin) Morris and Butch (Olena) Morris; and many nieces and nephews.

Per Hank's request, no services will be scheduled. He will be interned at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas at a later date.
