William G. Harvey passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 22, 2024. Born in the mountains of Western Maryland, Bill left home at 17 to join the Marines. After basic training he switched to the Air Force – according to him they had "less foxholes and better golf courses."

While stationed in New York, Bill met and married the love of his life, Neva. Together, they built a family by adopting two sons, Richard and Jim. Bill retired from the Air Force in 1976 and took a new role as a postal worker in Sherman, Texas, before eventually retiring to Bella Vista, Arkansas. Neva was attracted to the area by its natural beauty, and Bill by the golf!

Bill was a loving husband and a great father.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Neva, and son, Richard.

Bill is survived by his son, Jim, and his wife, Terri; grandchildren, Nathan, Elizabeth, Megan, William, and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Alyss and Ambrose; and his siblings, Al Cesnick, Joan Sines, and Jayne Thomas.

Though a tragic loss to those who love him, Bill has gone to a better place. A private service will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
