William (Bill) Guy Stewart, 72, of Bella Vista, AR, previously of Warren, MI, passed away on May 16, 2023. He was born on June 1,1950 to Joseph and Murial in Scranton, PA.

After he graduated from high school, he was drafted into the U.S. Marines and proudly served his country in Vietnam. Following his service in the Marines, Bill worked several different jobs throughout Pennsylvania, Michigan & Florida.

Bill relocated to Arkansas in 2018 where he lived with his eldest daughter, Carrie, and her family. Bill was able to build wonderful relationships with Carrie, her husband, Ken and grandchildren, Morgan and Owen. He was also able to meet his two great grandchildren, Phoebe and Mara.

Bill was very fond of working on cars and trucks, and cooking. Always a fan of telling stories, some of his favorite times in his later years were family dinners, sitting around the fireplace listening to music and playing with Benny the english bulldog.

Bill is survived by his sisters, Marsha (Rick), Sandy (Mike); children, Carrie (Ken), Billy, Amber (Nolan) and the late Tommy; grandchildren, Morgan (Keaton), Owen, Ethan, Grace, Rowan, Lennon, Audrina, Liam; great grandchildren, Phoebe and Mara; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, 1000 S Lt Col Leroy Pond Ave., Fayetteville, AR 72701 on May 22, 2023, at 11:30am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any United States Veteran organizations.
