William J
Stuckenbroker
Jul 12, 1932 — Apr 14, 2022
Bella Vista
William J. Stuckenbroker, 89, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, entered into his new Heavenly home on April 14, 2022. Bill was born on July 12, 1932, to William and Goldie (Swenson) Stuckenbroker in Lavern, Minnesota, where he grew up a farm boy.
At 17, Bill joined the Navy. He proudly served his country for three years during the Korean War. At the end of his tour, he headed to California. While there he went on a blind date, which turned into a sixty-six ½ year marriage with his sweet wife Peggy, who he joined in Heaven. They were blessed with two daughters, Vicki (Jerry) Hoskins of Noel Missouri and Leslie (Gary) McDonnell of Bella Vista, Arkansas. He was proud to be called Papa by four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Bill spent many years in the Aerospace industry as a precision machinist working on the first several space shuttles. He was a fixer of anything, his well-earned nickname was "Wild Bill" from the family's dune buggy days. He and Peggy are so missed, till we meet again.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on May 26, 2022, at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory. On-line condolences may be made at www.funeralmation.com.
