Wilma Jean Cooper, age 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15th, 2025. She was born on March 7, 1933, to Leo and Ima Jean Browning.

A woman of quiet strength and deep love she found joy in life, simple pleasures, spending time in her garden, tending to her flowerbeds and savoring the vegetables she grew herself. She enjoyed reading, embroidering, and the peaceful rhythm of country living.

She married the love of her life, Arlin Cooper, on March 10, 1955. They shared 56 beautiful years together until his passing. She also worked for over 20 years at Walmart where she made lasting friendships and left a legacy of dedication and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlin; her sisters, Ruby Ross and Lena Jo Kizzar; and her brother, Chester Browning.

She has survived by her brother, Jim Browning; her two sons, Darrell and Ronald Cooper; five grandchildren, Tanya Vandiver, Joshua Cooper, Josey Cooper, David Cooper, and Amanda Coelho;14 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. Her family was the joy of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Her legacy of love, resilience and warmth lives on in all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hiwasse, AR.
